Most of us look at what we do as a task. Projects or have too's are familiar parts of our days as realtors. When we view what we do as "tasks" it somehow takes the magic out of doing it. Makes it more mundane, boring and avoidable.
What I believe is missing is intimancy in our work. Intimacy with what we take on and yes, intimacy with our clients and customers. Intimacy is an interesting word, and could easily be misinterpreted. According to a web dictionary source, intimacy also means, a close association with or detailed knowledge or deep understanding of a place, subject or period of time etc.....
Taking away the task outlook of our work and replacing it with intimacy is crucial to our development and enjoyment. Getting connected with our clients is important for our business growth and our enjoyment of what we do.
Take a risk, get more intimate with your work.
